In April 2009 Bates Troy Inc. was acknowledged by the New York State Energy
Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) for our participation in the NY
Energy $mart Commercial Lighting Program and demonstrating commitment to
efficient, energy-effective lighting.
As part of the $4 million plant expansion and upgrades Bates Troy replaced all of
its older overhead lighting with new, high efficiency, NYSERDA -approved fixtures.
These upgrades provide better lighting for employees, create a better work
environment and save resources.
